2½ cups flour, 1½ cups gofio, ½ cup brown sugar, 1½ cups granulated sugar, ¾ cup natural yoghurt, ½ cup maize oil, ¾ cup milk, 3 eggs, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, 4 teaspoons of yeast and a pinch of salt.
Mix the sieved flour, gofio, yeast and salt in a deep bowl; mix the eggs, oil, yoghurt, milk, sugar and vanilla in a blender. Combine both mixtures by stirring with a wooden spoon and pour into greased muffin tins (or into individual paper cases). Bake at 170°C for 35 minutes or 15 minutes if they are in individual cases. Remove from the oven when the inside is done and allow to cool. They can be decorated with fondant chocolate.
