Gofio La Piña is a 100% Canarian company founded in Teror in 1957 by Mr Carlos Acosta Lantigua. Today our factory is in the Díaz Casanova industrial estate in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. It opened in 2007 to coincide with our company’s 50 th anniversary. This is the most technically modern gofio manufacturing and packaging plant in the sector.
Our tradition began in 1957
The aim of our investment was to focus on research and development (R&D). We have managed to modernise our packaging to best preserve the aroma and taste of gofio in its purest state. Gofio La Piña has the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Certificate (since 2006), and it was the first gofio industry to obtain European quality certification.
Since it was founded, Gofio La Piña has constantly improved the manufacturing processes of the best-known product in the Canaries. That is why Gofio La Piña is a byword for quality and know-how. Our products are 100% natural and have no preservatives or colourings. This is and will be our main commitment to the Canary Islands.
